The Wave Asian Literary and Arts Magazine is compiling a social media campaign and digital zine for pan-Asian voices to share their creativity and perspectives in this time of COVID-19, from new bread recipes to an impassioned response to current events.
With the resurgence of anti-Asian rhetoric across the globe, we believe that showcasing AAPI voices is important, now more than ever, and we aim to feature such writing, art, videos, songs, multimedia pieces — freeform, unfiltered, and unedited.
Update on #BlackLivesMatter: We are stopping Quaranzine posts for the month of June to make space for and recognize Black writers and artists on our social media platforms. We are still open to submissions during this time. Please read our statement in support of the #BlackLivesMatter Movement here.
Please check out our Instagram @waveharvard, Facebook @harvardwave, and site waveartsmagazine.com for our Quaranzine pieces, and as we feature works by Black creators in support of #BLM.
Wishing you and your loved ones health, safety, and a lot of love,
The Wave Team
